NEW CHARGES

Please note the following new charges that will apply;

Medical Records release – all new requests for medical records to be transferred to another practice will incur the following charges:

Full short summary – free, will be faxed to the new practice

Extensive summary (with documents) – $30, will be sent via registered mail to the new practice

Procedures – a consumables fee will now be charged for any procedures performed by the Doctors, this is due to the Mannum District Hospital charging for consumables.

$50 for a basic procedure

$100 for a larger/complex procedure

You will be advised at the time of the booking of the procedure as to the fee amount. This fee is not claimable through Medicare or your Private Health Fund.

Contraception – Implanon insertion or Mirena insertion

An appointment is required with the Doctor before the procedure can be arranged. The Doctor needs to discuss the procedure and options.

Implanon – $20 consumables fee

Mirena – $50 consumables fee

Pap Smear

All pap smear’s conducted in the Women’s Health Clinic will incur a $20 consumables fee. This fee is not claimable through Medicare or your Private Health fund.
