COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
Mannum Medical is pleased to advise that we have been approved to provide the Covid-19 vaccine Phase 1B which is expected for delivery in April. We anticipate clinics to begin shortly after. The Astra Zeneca vaccine consists of two doses 12 weeks apart.
Please note, only a small volume of vaccines has been allocated to locations for delivery on a fortnightly basis. The practice is required to perform an eligibility check for every patient prior to booking therefore we have implemented strict guidelines for booking eligible patients.
Phase 1B priority population groups include:
- Persons 70 years of age or older;
- Healthcare workers;
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults over 55 years;
- Younger people with an underlying medical condition, including persons with a disability
