/Meet the Team/Jason Walters

I am an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in critical care and emergency nursing. My nursing journey began in 1994 in emergency care, and I have continued to build expertise and leadership in advanced clinical practice ever since.

I completed a Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing in 2002 and went on to achieve a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) in 2013, becoming an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner in 2014. My career has included roles such as Clinical Practice Consultant at Modbury Hospital (since 2012) and educator for the Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) program since 2013, where I have had the privilege of teaching and learning alongside the LearnEM team.

In 2015, I embraced the challenge of becoming a Rural Generalist Nurse Practitioner, supported by the Mannum community. My passion lies in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and sharing knowledge to strengthen clinical practice across diverse settings.
