Dr. Stephen Napoli

/Meet the Team/Dr. Stephen Napoli

Since moving to Mannum in 1999, I’ve been dedicated to rural general practice at Mannum Medical and the Mannum District Hospital. Being part of the shared after-hours and emergency roster has been a privilege, allowing me to provide person-centred, holistic care to families and people of all ages across the region with compassion and respect- including maternity care now spanning generations.

Supporting and teaching health professionals has always been central to my practice. I also work one day a week at Modbury Emergency Department and contribute to inter-professional education in emergency and maternity care. In 2024, I completed a Facilitator Certificate to strengthen my skills in teaching and supervision.

I am excited about the move to our new premises, which opens up fresh opportunities to grow and improve the services we offer at Mannum Medical.

Outside of work, I’m grateful for the support of my wife Samantha and our five wonderful children. Family time is the highlight of my week, and I enjoy spending time in nature—walking, cycling, running, swimming at the beach, playing tennis, and growing gardens at home and in the future with the Mannum community.
